Welcome to the Community Garden @ Snellville!
In
addition to its primary purpose of providing space for families to grow
flowers, food for their own consumption and to donate to local
charities, the Community Garden @ Snellville also adds a new
dimension to Snellville's sense of community.
The
Garden, is located in T. W. Briscoe Park, on the corner of Marigold Road
and Sawyer Parkway. Currently the garden includes 52 raised beds, a pavilion, beehives, a greenhouse, tool shed and a large perennial garden.
When a group of volunteers announced plans for a community garden, the phrase,
“if you build it they will come” seemed very appropriate.

The Community Garden @ Snellville was built, and is maintained, by an all-volunteer group that includes individuals, civic groups and local businesses. We’re proud of our volunteer committee, which has included landscape architects, master gardeners, an architect, a marketing professional, three city councilmen, a CPA, several business owners and a myriad of others who are bringing their collective expertise and commitment to ensure the quality and continuity of the garden.
